Ramada by Wyndham Edmonton South is seeking an energetic, results-driven Sales & Marketing Manager to lead our hotel's sales initiatives and drive revenue growth across guestrooms, meetings, banquets, and corporate accounts.

As a full-service hotel with 126 guestrooms and 8,800 sq. ft. of flexible meeting and banquet space, this leadership role is ideal for a motivated hospitality professional who thrives on building relationships, developing new business, and creating memorable guest experiences.

Key Responsibilities

Prospect and develop new corporate, government, sports, tour, and group business.
Generate banquet, meeting, and guestroom revenue through proactive sales efforts.
Build and maintain strong client relationships through networking, outside sales calls, and site tours.
Respond to inquiries, prepare proposals and contracts, and coordinate successful events.
Develop and implement marketing initiatives to promote the hotel and increase market presence.
Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and sales performance to achieve revenue goals.
Work closely with hotel departments to ensure exceptional guest experiences and event execution.

Qualifications

Minimum 3 years of hotel sales, hospitality sales, or business development experience.
Proven ability to generate new business and meet revenue targets.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and organizational skills.
Self-motivated with strong time management and relationship-building abilities.
Experience with hotel Property Management Systems (PMS) and Microsoft Office is an asset.
Valid Class 5 Driver's Licence and reliable transportation.
