Duties
- Prepare and craft a variety of chocolates, truffles, and confections with attention to detail and presentation
- Handle food preparation tasks including melting, tempering, molding, and packaging chocolates
- Ensure all food handling practices comply with safety standards and regulations
- Assist with other kitchen-related food preparation activities as needed
- Maintain cleanliness of workstations, tools, and equipment in accordance with food safety protocols
Requirements
- This is an entry-level production role with training provided — ideal for someone who enjoys detailed, food-focused work and wants to learn chocolate production.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Creative flair for designing visually appealing chocolates and desserts
- Excellent customer service skills to engage with clients and enhance their experience
- Prior experience in cooking or baking is preferred but not mandatory; willingness to learn is essential
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and proper handling techniques is required
- Able to lift up to 50 lbs
- Organized and Dependable
- Willingness to learn and work as part of a small team
