Wild Rose School Division requires a
Regular Part Time Caretaker
For Evergreen Elementary and Aurora Elementary schools in Drayton Valley, Alberta
This position is covered by the International Union of Operating Engineers (IUOE) Collective Agreement. Rate of pay is in accordance with the Wage Schedule set forth in this agreement.
Applications are invited for a 32.5 hour/week Regular Part Time Caretaker position for
Evergreen Elementary and Aurora Elementary Schools
with a preferred start date of July 7, 2026.
Details of position: The successful candidate will be responsible for all cleaning in specified areas of the schools. The work shifts will be 6:00 to 9:00 am (Evergreen) and 2:30 pm to 6:00 pm (Aurora) for 6.5 hours/day Monday to Friday. Starting wage is $22.45/hour increasing to $22.90 September 1, 2026. The pay schedule is bi-weekly.

The successful candidate will be required to provide an original, satisfactory and current (within six months) Criminal Record Check with Vulnerable Sector as conditions of employment.
