Physiotherapy Assistant (Full-Time)

Forward Physiotherapy & Wellness is a growing multidisciplinary clinic located in the Klarvatten neighbourhood of North Edmonton. We provide Physiotherapy, Chiropractic, Massage Therapy, Acupuncture, Naturopathic Medicine, and Kinesiology services with a strong focus on exceptional patient care and teamwork.
We are looking for a full-time Physiotherapy Assistant to join our team. Schedule
This is a full-time position consisting of 38.25 guaranteed hours per week.
The current schedule is:
- Monday: 9:45 AM – 5:30 PM
- Tuesday: 1:00 PM – 8:30 PM
- Wednesday: 9:45 AM – 5:30 PM
- Thursday: 1:00 PM – 8:30 PM
- Friday: 10:30 AM – 6:15 PM
Saturday and Sunday are normally scheduled off. However, occasional weekend shifts are be required to provide vacation coverage. Future scheduling may vary based on operational needs.
Primary Responsibilities
- Assist physiotherapists in delivering individualized treatment plans while ensuring client comfort and safety.
- Prepare treatment rooms and equipment before appointments.
- Clean and disinfect treatment rooms and equipment between patients.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and professional clinic environment throughout the day.
- Restock treatment rooms, laundry, and clinic supplies as needed.
- Monitor client progress and communicate observations to the treating physiotherapist.
- Assist with clinic maintenance and other operational tasks.
- Take initiative by identifying tasks that need to be completed without waiting for direction.
- Communicate professionally and respectfully with patients, therapists, and coworkers.
- Follow all clinic policies regarding attendance, punctuality, confidentiality, and professionalism.
- Provide assistance to the Office Manager and support various clinic operations as required.

Qualifications
Preferred Qualifications
- Physiotherapy Assistant diploma/certificate or equivalent education
- Previous experience working in a physiotherapy or multidisciplinary clinic

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced healthcare environment
- Ability to perform light physical tasks such as moving equipment and preparing treatment areas
