Location: Fredericton, NB
Salary Range: $75,000–$100,000 annually (based on experience and credentials)

KYAN is a trusted name in roofing and cladding construction throughout the Maritimes. Known for our commitment to quality and safety, we’re looking for a detail-oriented Estimator to join our team in Fredericton.

About the Role:

As an Estimator, you’ll play a key role in the success of our projects by preparing accurate and competitive cost estimates for roofing and cladding work. This position offers a hybrid work environment, allowing a combination of work from home and office-based responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities:

Review project drawings, specifications, and tender documents
Prepare detailed quantity takeoffs and cost estimates
Solicit and evaluate pricing from suppliers and subcontractors
Analyze project requirements and identify potential risks or opportunities
Prepare bid submissions and supporting documentation
Maintain estimating databases and pricing information
Collaborate with project managers, operations staff, and senior leadership
Assist with project handovers following successful bids

Requirements:

Previous estimating experience in construction is required
Strong analytical and mathematical skills
Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
Proficiency with estimating software
Strong communication and time-management skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
