What We Offer:

Compensation: $22.00 to $25.00 per hour
Benefits package (24+ hours worked per week)

Responsibilities and Duties:

Passion for delivering Happier Aging and client focused care in home and community settings
Assisting clients with activities of daily living: meal preparation, light housekeeping, errands, companionship, personal care
Execute on the client’s care plan as outlined by the Care Designer
Meet the safety needs of the client and use equipment safely and properly
Function within the limits of your own experience and knowledge, while practicing safely and competently within the job description
Reviewing progress notes prior to a visit, completing records and documentation accurately and carrying out all assignments as requested.
Service the Sunshine Coast area
Visit times (7am – 8pm) weekdays and weekends

Requirements:

2 years previous caregiving experience
Exception communication skills (written and verbal)
Proof of BC Health Care Certification (Registry #)
Current TB Screen and Criminal Record Check
Must be able to legally work in BC, Canada to apply for this position
Valid driver’s license
