Pay Rate: $20.32/hour + $0.80/hour shift premium on select shifts

Day Shift: 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM

Afternoon Shift: 3:00 PM - 11:00 PM

What You'll Do
As a Batch Maker, you will play a critical role in the production process by preparing, mixing, testing, and monitoring chemical batches to ensure all products meet quality and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities

Safely mix chemical products according to batch formulas and production specifications

Operate semi-automated and automated processing equipment

Monitor gauges, instruments, and production systems throughout the manufacturing process

Perform volumetric and mass calculations to ensure accurate batch preparation
-
Observe product characteristics and process conditions to maintain product quality
-
Conduct routine chemical and physical testing during production
-
Complete batch records and production documentation accurately
-
Follow established quality control (QC) procedures and manufacturing standards
-
Troubleshoot minor equipment issues and perform routine process maintenance
-
Load and unload bulk materials and raw ingredients
-
Operate forklifts, including Counterbalance and Reach trucks

Manage raw material inventory and production supplies
-
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
-
Adhere to all Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS), WHMIS, and company procedures
-
Perform additional duties as assigned by the Lead Hand or Production Supervisor
What We're Looking For
Required Qualifications
-
Legally eligible to work and reside in Canada
-
Grade 12 diploma or equivalent
-
Valid forklift certification with Counterbalance and/or Reach Truck experience
-
Strong mathematical skills with the ability to perform volumetric and mass calculations
-
Ability to read and follow Batch Cards, Work Orders, SOPs, and production instructions
-
Knowledge of WHMIS, spill response, and workplace safety procedures
-
Experience working with chemicals or hazardous materials
-
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
-
Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Capable of working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs

Flexibility to work overtime and different shifts as required
