Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Cement Finisher to join our construction team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for finishing concrete surfaces, ensuring smooth, durable, and aesthetically pleasing results. This role requires a strong understanding of concrete finishing techniques, as well as experience with various construction tools and methods. The Cement Finisher will collaborate with other trades to complete projects efficiently and to high standards, contributing to the successful completion of residential, commercial, or industrial construction projects.
Duties
- Finish concrete surfaces using hand tools and power tools to achieve a smooth, level finish
- Operate heavy equipment safely for tasks like concrete placement and surface preparation.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to ensure accurate execution of work.
- Perform masonry tasks including caulking, restoration, and flooring installation as needed.
- Conduct welding and carpentry tasks related to formwork or structural adjustments.
- Coordinate with team members on site to ensure proper sequence of operations during renovation or new construction projects.
- Maintain safety standards by adhering to OSHA regulations and company policies during all phases of work.
Requirements
- Proven experience in concrete finishing, masonry, or related construction fields
Pay: $25.00-$42.00 per hour
