About Us

We are an established and highly respected landscape construction company serving commercial and residential clients throughout Winnipeg and the surrounding area. We are seeking a Project Coordinator / Estimator to join our team. This role combines estimating, project coordination, and field support, making it ideal for someone who enjoys both office and site-based work.

Responsibilities

Prepare quantity takeoffs and cost estimates from construction drawings and specifications.
Review tender documents and assist with bid preparation and submission.
Obtain and evaluate supplier and subcontractor pricing.
Coordinate project procurement, material orders, and deliveries.
Assist with project planning, scheduling, and budget tracking.
Prepare and maintain project documentation, including purchase orders and change orders.
Communicate with clients, suppliers, subcontractors, and field crews to support successful project execution.
Conduct regular site visits during the construction season to monitor progress and assist with project coordination.
Identify and resolve project issues in a timely and professional manner.
Support project managers and company leadership throughout all phases of construction.

Qualifications

Minimum 1 year of estimating, project coordination, or related construction experience preferred.
Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
Strong organizational and communication skills.
Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Bluebeam.
Comfortable learning and utilizing new software and technology.
Self-motivated with strong attention to detail.
Valid Class 5 driver's licence and reliable transportation.
