Overview
We are looking for a reliable and detail-oriented bookkeeper and administrative support to join our team. This is a hands-on role ideal for someone who enjoys both bookkeeping tasks and helping keep an office running smoothly.
In a small firm, everyone pitches in—so we’re looking for someone who is flexible, organized, and comfortable wearing multiple hats.
Duties
- Prepare and organize client files for year-end and tax work
- Maintain bookkeeping records for clients (QuickBooks Online, Sage 50, CaseWare)
- Record financial transactions and maintain accurate records while bringing the books to a trial balance stage.
- Prepare T4, T5, T4A, T5108, GST, and other compliance returns.
- Bookkeeping for investment transactions.
- Reconciliations of bank accounts, accounts payable, accounts receivable and payroll.
- Prepare T1 Returns.
- Administrative support as needed.
- Collaborate with peers and partners on file planning completion, ensuring that time requirements are met.
Required Skills & Experience
- A certified Bookkeeping Diploma/Certificate or an Accounting Diploma/Certificate and 1-3 years of practical experience or 10+ years of demonstratable experience.
- Experience with QuickBooks Online, Sage50, CaseWare.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Excellent verbal and written English communication skills.
- Experience with Personal Tax Preparation.

Pay: $40,000.00-$50,000.00 per year
