This is not a traditional administrative position.
As Executive Assistant to the General Manager of Cabot Cape Breton and Vice President (Americas), you will have a front-row seat to the leadership and operations of a globally recognized luxury hospitality brand. You will work directly with a senior executive responsible for one of Canada's most celebrated resorts while gaining exposure to business strategy, operations, project management, communications, and executive decision-making.

Position Overview
The Executive Assistant plays a vital role in supporting the General Manager/Vice President and helping ensure the smooth operation of a dynamic executive office.
Success in this role requires exceptional organization, initiative, professionalism, and the ability to anticipate needs before they arise. The ideal candidate enjoys solving problems, managing multiple priorities, and building strong relationships across all levels of an organization.

You'll support the General Manager/Vice President by:

Managing a complex and dynamic executive calendar.

Coordinating travel, accommodations, transportation, and itineraries.

Organizing meetings, executive visits, conferences, and special events.

Preparing correspondence, presentations, and meeting materials.

Acting as a key point of coordination between departments, leadership teams, and external partners.

Managing expenses and supporting reporting processes.

Assisting with special projects and strategic initiatives.

Supporting communication and collaboration between the Cabot Cape Breton team and Cabot's corporate office.

Identifying opportunities to improve efficiency, organization, and administrative processes.
