Comfort Keepers Ottawa is seeking a passionate, community-driven individual to lead outreach and marketing initiatives focused on innovative technologies that support seniors living with dementia and other cognitive challenges.
Position Summary
The Marketing and Outreach Coordinator will build strong professional relationships, identify referral and partnership opportunities, generate qualified leads, and promote services and technologies that support seniors’ independence, engagement, and quality of life.
The ideal candidate is results-oriented, skilled in relationship management, business development, community outreach, and local marketing, and is passionate about making a positive impact in the lives of seniors and their families.
Key Responsibilities
· Build and maintain relationships with healthcare professionals, retirement residences, community organizations, and referral partners.
· Identify new partnership, referral, and business development opportunities.
· Present and demonstrate senior wellness and engagement technologies with confidence.
· Educate families, caregivers, healthcare professionals, and community partners on available services and solutions.
· Represent Comfort Keepers Ottawa at networking events, senior expos, lunch-and-learns, community events, and professional meetings.
· Develop and maintain a pipeline of referral sources and prospective clients.
· Conduct outreach through in-person visits, phone calls, email campaigns, and professional networking.
· Track outreach activities, referrals, leads, and conversion outcomes.
· Work independently while representing Comfort Keepers Ottawa with professionalism, compassion, and integrity.
· Communicate effectively with seniors, families, healthcare professionals, and community stakeholders.
Qualifications
· Experience in sales, community outreach, healthcare marketing, senior care, home care, hospice, assisted living, retirement living, or related fields preferred.
· Strong relationship-building, networking, and follow-up skills.
· Comfortable conducting in-person meetings, presentations, phone calls, email outreach, and LinkedIn networking.
· Ability to explain services and technology in a clear, reassuring, and non-technical manner.
· Experience using CRM systems, Microsoft Office or Google Workspace, email, and other digital tools.
· Understanding of the Ottawa healthcare and senior services market is an asset.
· Self-motivated, organized, and accountable for measurable results.
· Passion for helping seniors live with independence, dignity, safety, and joy.
Compensation and Benefits
· CA$26.00 per hour plus performance-based incentives.
