Emry Formworks is a locally owned Kelowna based concrete Formworks contractor serving the Okanagan area. Our focus is building multi-level concrete structures that shape and enrich our communities.
At Emry Formworks we are looking to build successful projects with our clients, through team work, experience and our talented craftsmen. As a growing company we are currently looking to add an experienced formwork Foreman to our team. This role is hands-on and requires excellent leadership skills.

Candidate attributes;
- Safety leadership - help create and support the safety culture
- Detail oriented and schedule driven
- Have a good work ethic and willingness to learn
- 1-4 years construction experience (preferably in formwork)
- Leadership experience - motivate the team, communicate effectively, expect the best
- Be coachable and able to coach and mentor team members
- Be in good health, physically and mentally fit
- A Positive attitude
- Be able to lift 50 - 75 lbs

Experience
- Experience with a variety of forming systems including Peri, Aluma, Doka, Camlock, Titan and Gang forms
- Experience with erecting and dismantling formwork for suspended slabs, columns, beams, cores, footings, walls, raft slabs and stairs
- Working at heights and ability to properly use Fall protection equipment
- Handle and install carpentry materials
- Use of power tools and pneumatic tools
- Working with and signalling rough terrain forklifts
- Working with and signalling tower cranes
- Working around and signalling mobile cranes
- Reading and interpreting blue prints, sketches and directions
- Erecting and dismantling scaffold systems
Work Conditions
This position is physically demanding and involves exposure to all elements of outdoor work. Hours of work for this position are based on a minimum of 40 hours per week. The ideal candidate will be available to sometimes work overtime and some alternating Saturdays as required. This position requires a keen attention to detail and a commitment to working safely on our jobsites.

Pay: $85,000.00-$100,000.00 per year
