Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking General Farm Worker to join our agricultural team. This role involves supporting daily farm operations, maintaining equipment, and assisting with crop production. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, physical stamina, and the ability to operate various farm tools and machinery. This position offers an opportunity to gain hands-on experience farm maintenance within a dynamic agricultural environment.

Duties

Assist with planting, watering, and harvesting crops using appropriate tools and equipment
Operate farm machinery such as tractors, tillers, and other heavy equipment safely and efficiently.
operate GPS and other technological devices.
Use hand tools and power tools for repairs, adjustments, and general farm upkeep
Conduct regular inspections of crops and farm infrastructure to identify issues or needed repairs
Assist with heavy lifting of supplies, equipment, or harvested produce as required
Maintain CLEANLINESS and organization of the farm work areas and equipment.
Support other farm activities including fertilization, pest control, and soil preparation

Qualifications

Basic knowledge of crop practices and crop management preferred
Mechanical knowledge related to farm machinery and equipment operation
Class 1A an asset , must be willing to obtain.
Ability to operate heavy equipment safely and efficiently
Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and general maintenance tasks
Strong physical stamina capable of heavy lifting and extended periods of manual labor
Basic math skills for measurements, calculations, and record keeping
Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
Prior experience working on a farm or in agricultural settings is necessary
Must be able to pass any necessary safety training or certifications related to farm operations

Pay: $20.00-$35.00 per hour

Work Location: In person
