SHINE GYMNASTICS CENTRE
Mentorship Coach Opportunity
ONE POSITION AVAILABLE
SHINE Gymnastics Centre is excited to introduce a new Mentorship Coach Opportunity.
This is a selective, one-on-one professional development opportunity designed for one coach who demonstrates the potential, commitment, and desire to grow as a coach and future leader within our organization.
Rather than offering a large mentorship group, SHINE will select one mentee who will work closely with an experienced mentor throughout the season.
This opportunity is intended to provide focused guidance, meaningful coaching experience, and individualized professional development that may not be possible in a traditional group setting.
ABOUT SHINE GYMNASTICS CENTRE
SHINE Gymnastics Centre is a growing gymnastics organization committed to providing high-quality programming and creating meaningful opportunities for athletes and coaches to develop.
Since acquiring SHINE in 2022, the club has experienced significant growth — expanding from a 1,000-square-foot facility serving approximately 70 athletes to a 13,000-square-foot gymnastics centre serving more than 500 athletes each week.
SHINE offers a wide range of programming, including recreational, developmental, and competitive gymnastics.
Our competitive programs are designed with a focus on long-term athlete development, helping athletes develop the technical abilities, confidence, discipline, resilience, and work ethic necessary to reach their individual potential.
As our club continues to grow, developing strong coaches and future leaders is equally important.
We believe that investing in our coaching staff is an investment in the future of SHINE.
THE OPPORTUNITY
The SHINE Mentorship Coach Opportunity is designed for one coach who is ready to take the next step in their development.
The selected mentee will work directly with an experienced SHINE mentor throughout the mentorship period.
This will be an opportunity to receive individualized coaching feedback, observe experienced coaching, develop technical knowledge, strengthen leadership skills, and gradually take on greater coaching responsibility.
The mentorship will be tailored to the selected coach's current experience and long-term goals.
The objective is to help develop a well-rounded, confident, knowledgeable, and professional coach who has the potential to take on increased responsibility within SHINE.
