Terra Nova Medical Clinic is seeking a Full-Time Clinic Manager to lead our Duncan and Nanaimo Clinics. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a healthcare team that values quality patient care and team collaboration.

Responsibilities and Duties

Administrative Oversight
Manage daily clinic operations, including scheduling, patient flow, and appointments.
Approve MOA timesheets and assign daily duties.
Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and clinic policies.
Communicate procedural updates to staff.

2. Financial Management

Oversee billing, coding, collections, and budget management.
Implement cost-control measures and assist in contract negotiations with suppliers.

3. Staff Management

Train, supervise, and onboard staff, ensuring compliance with clinic standards.
Resolve minor staff issues and provide performance feedback.
Lead training and compliance initiatives at the clinic level.

4. Patient Care Coordination

Ensure high-quality patient care and satisfaction.
Oversee patient registration, medical records management, and confidentiality.
Address patient concerns and complaints promptly.

5. Operational Efficiency

Improve clinic workflows and monitor supply availability.
Coordinate facility maintenance and cleanliness.
Perform internal audits and address feedback.

6. Risk Management

Ensure privacy and confidentiality compliance (PIPEDA regulations).
Implement risk management strategies and prepare incident reports.

7. Quality Improvement

Develop and monitor quality improvement initiatives.
Track patient outcomes and foster continuous improvement.

8. Technology Management

Oversee EMR system implementation and data security.
Liaise with IT support for system issues.

9. General Medical Office Duties

Greet and check-in patients, answer phones, and schedule appointments.
Update medical records and assist with insurance forms and billing.

10. Perform other duties that may be assigned as required.

Qualifications and Skills:

Strong organizational and interpersonal skills.
Excellent communication skills and a customer service-oriented approach.
Familiarity with medical terminology and healthcare environment is an asset.
Proficient in the use of computer programs and medical software.
Able to multitask and handle pressure during busy periods.

Education:

Grade 12

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, or a related field
Proven experience in clinic or healthcare management
Exceptional leadership and communication skills
In-depth knowledge of healthcare regulations and compliance
Proficiency in healthcare management software and MS Office Suite
