Family owned and operated for over 75 years, serving the Central Alberta area and beyond with used auto parts. We are looking for reliable people to dismantle used auto parts to sell. Applicants must supply their own PPE including Steel toe boots and safety glasses, Own their own tools, have a decent knowledge on vehicles and removing parts safely, must be able to work independently and with others, this job requires you to be able to lift 50 pounds and working outside in all types of weather while dismantling vehicles for parts.
Summary
As an Automotive Parts Dismantler, you will be essential in the efficient disassembly of vehicles to salvage usable parts. Reporting to the Operations Manager, your role requires strong mechanical knowledge and proficiency with hand and power tools. You will be responsible for identifying and removing components while ensuring safety and adherence to environmental regulations. Your attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment will contribute to the organization’s goal of maximizing resource recovery and minimizing waste. Responsibilities
- Dismantle automotive parts using hand and power tools while adhering to safety standards.
- Assess and categorize parts for reuse or recycling.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace to ensure efficiency and safety.
- Collaborate with team members to streamline the dismantling process.
- Keep inventory of dismantled parts and report any discrepancies.
- Follow company protocols for hazardous materials and waste disposal.
