We are currently recruiting for Plastic Injection Operators for our client located in Kingsville, ON. These are FULL TIME positions with the chance to be hired on with the company. Shifts are currently available on a Days/Afternoons rotation and midnights.
Job responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Operate and monitor injection molding machines to produce high-quality plastic parts
- Set up molds and perform necessary adjustments to ensure proper operation
- Inspect finished products for defects and ensure they meet quality standards
- Troubleshoot and resolve any issues that arise during the production process
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area
- Collaborate with team members to optimize production efficiency
The successful candidate will have the following experience:
- Previous experience in a similar manufacturing role is an asset
- Knowledge of injection molding processes and equipment
- Familiarity with lathe, CNC, and other machining tools
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
- Strong attention to detail and ability to perform quality inspections using tools such as calipers
- Basic math skills for measuring and calculating dimensions
- Understanding of lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methods
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet production targets
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot equipment issues
