WORKING HOURS
- Full-time position. Monday through Friday, 7:00am - 3:30pm. Start times and hours may vary depending on the type of work scheduled.
- Scheduled overtime is paid at time-and -a-half, emergency call out work is double time (woohoo!)
JOB REQUIREMENTS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Technical Proficiency:
Possess advanced skills and expertise in the installation of ductwork, spiral duct, and HVAC systems, including the maintenance and repair of commercial and industrial heating, ventilation, and air conditioning equipment. Demonstrate proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints, specifications, shop drawings, and project schedules, ensuring work is completed accurately and efficiently.
Experience and Knowledge:
We are looking for a leader with hands-on experience running large commercial HVAC projects. Someone who can lead crews, think critically, communicate confidently with customers, and keep work progressing safely, efficiently, and professionally. Demonstrate the ability to coordinate manpower, materials, and schedules to ensure successful project execution.
Safety and Compliance Awareness:
Prioritize and adhere to safety protocols and industry regulations, demonstrating a commitment to creating a safe work environment for oneself and others. This includes staying up to date with safety practices, procedures, and applicable legislative requirements.
Customer Service and Communication Skills:
Possess strong communication and customer service skills. Communicate effectively with customers, contractors, project managers, and field crews, ensuring expectations are understood and project objectives are met. Provide clear direction to crew members and apprentices while maintaining positive, professional relationships on and off the job site.
Problem-Solving and Adaptability:
Exhibit strong problem-solving skills and adaptability. Analyze and resolve technical and job site challenges efficiently, implement practical solutions, and respond effectively to changing project requirements and field conditions.
Material Management:
Coordinate and manage equipment and materials required for HVAC installations and repairs to ensure crews remain productive and projects stay on schedule. Experience operating forklifts, telehandlers, and hoisting equipment is considered an asset.
REQUIRED/PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS & TRAINING

- Journeyperson Sheet Metal Certificate required.
- Extensive commercial HVAC and sheet metal experience preferred.
- Previous foreman, lead hand, or crew leadership experience considered an asset.
- Valid Fall Protection and Aerial Lift certifications required.
- Clean Driver's Abstract and valid driver's license required.
- Additional safety certifications and equipment operation experience considered assets.
Pay: $40.00-$44.00 per hour
