Job Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Part-Time Bookkeeper to join our team. This role is ideal for someone with a strong background in accounting and bookkeeping who can efficiently manage financial records, perform account reconciliations, and support our financial operations. The successful candidate will utilize accounting software to ensure accurate and timely financial data entry and reporting, contributing to the overall financial health of the organization.

Responsibilities

Maintain accurate financial records using accounting software - Swedamart
Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes
Perform bank reconciliations and account analysis to ensure data accuracy
Assist with account reconciliation and review financial statements for discrepancies
Support payroll processing and related documentation
Prepare budgets and assist with financial forecasting as needed
Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standards
Generate reports for management review and audit purposes

Qualifications

Proven experience in bookkeeping or accounting roles, with proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks, Sage, or Xero
Strong understanding of accounting principles, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and bank reconciliation
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
Ability to perform account analysis and budgeting tasks effectively
Familiarity with payroll processing is a plus
Strong communication skills and ability to work independently
Prior experience in small business or corporate accounting environments is preferred
