Job Description:

A community–based laboratory located in GTA looking for CSMLS/MLPAO certified Medical Laboratory Technician, for specimen collection Centre. This position is available for full time (35-40 hours) and Saturdays at our specimen collection center.

- Qualifications & Experience:

Excellent skills in performing venipuncture and ECG is must. CSMLS/MLPAO - MLA/T certification in good standing, `Hands-on’ leadership with a passion for quality patient care.
Excellent skills managing day-to-day specimen processing (Pre-Analytical) in accordance with the accepted laboratory standards, and the established policies & procedure.
Competent in problem-solving and decision-making.
Knowledge & Skills: LIS operation with excellent data entry speed. General computer skills (Word, EXCEL etc.)
Excellent professional communication skills (written & verbal) for customer services, client relationships, documentation and new process developments.
Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to inspire professional team work, to work and interact with all levels of staff for positive outcomes.
Valid driver’s license and a car will be an asset.
