Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Janitor to maintain cleanliness and safety across our facilities. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing cleaning and maintenance tasks to ensure a hygienic, organized, and welcoming environment for employees and visitors alike. This role is vital in supporting the overall operations and appearance of our premises, contributing to a positive and professional atmosphere.

Responsibilities

Perform routine cleaning of offices, restrooms, hallways, and common areas using appropriate cleaning supplies and equipment
Maintain floors through sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming to ensure safety and cleanliness
Dispose of trash and recyclables in designated containers, ensuring proper waste management procedures are followed
Restock supplies such as paper towels, toilet paper, soap, and other essentials as needed
Conduct minor maintenance tasks such as changing light bulbs or reporting larger repairs to facilities management
Ensure all cleaning activities comply with health and safety regulations
Maintain a clean storage area for cleaning supplies and equipment
Assist with special cleaning projects or deep-cleaning tasks as assigned

Skills

Proven experience in cleaning or custodial work, preferably in commercial or facility maintenance settings
Knowledge of cleaning techniques and the proper use of cleaning equipment and chemicals
Strong attention to detail with an emphasis on thoroughness and quality of work
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while following safety protocols
Good organizational skills to manage supplies and prioritize tasks effectively
Physical stamina to perform repetitive cleaning duties, including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods
Excellent communication skills to coordinate with team members and report issues promptly

Pay: $24.00 per hour
