Job Title: Electronics Manufacturing Supervisor
Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced and hands-on Electronics Manufacturing Supervisor to lead and support a team of Electronics Assemblers, Technicians, and Machine Operators within our clients fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role is responsible for coordinating daily production activities, scheduling, quality, employee training, and overall operational support to ensure production targets and quality standards are consistently achieved.
The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader who enjoys working directly with their team, solving production challenges, developing employees, and identifying opportunities for continuous improvement. Rather than managing from a distance, this individual will play an active role on the production floor and work closely with employees to keep operations running efficiently and effectively.

The Electronics Manufacturing Supervisor will work closely with the Electronics Manufacturing Manager and Human Resources on training, performance management, employee development, and team engagement.
Job Type: Full-time, permanent. 100% on-site.
Job Location: London, ON.
Shift Structure: Day Shift; Monday to Friday from 7:00am to 3:30pm (must be flexible if business needs arise)
Compensation Structure: $60,000-$70,000 per annum (depending on experience) + benefits + RRSP + 3 weeks vacation to start + more!
Responsibilities:
· Lead the day-to-day activities of the Electronics Manufacturing team, including assembly, testing, production, and quality-related activities.
· Coordinate production schedules, priorities, and workflow to ensure jobs are completed on time and according to customer and company requirements.
· Track production progress and proactively identify potential delays, bottlenecks, material shortages, or other issues that could impact deadlines.
· Work closely with the manufacturing team to ensure employees have the materials, tools, equipment, and information required to complete their work efficiently.
· Provide hands-on support and guidance to employees when technical, production, or operational challenges arise.
· Ensure team members are properly trained, supported, and equipped to perform their roles safely and effectively.
· Support the onboarding of new employees by helping introduce them to their responsibilities, processes, and workplace expectations.
· Partner with the Electronics Manufacturing Manager and HR to address employee performance, development, attendance, and other workplace matters.
· Lead regular team meetings and daily production huddles to communicate priorities, review targets, and keep the team aligned.
· Review upcoming work and production requirements to help establish job priorities and resource allocation.
· Prepare and organize production kits, materials, and jobs to support the scheduled workflow.
· Maintain accurate production schedules and provide regular updates on job status, progress, risks, and opportunities to management.
· Complete and maintain production reports, employee documentation, scheduling information, and other operational records as required.
· Support employee scheduling and process vacation, time-off, and leave requests in accordance with company policies.
· Support quality inspections throughout the manufacturing process, including incoming materials, in-process production, and final product inspection.
· Investigate quality concerns, help identify root causes, and contribute to corrective actions and continuous improvement initiatives.
· Promote a strong health and safety culture, ensuring team members understand and follow applicable workplace safety requirements.
· Provide hands-on production coverage when required to support staffing needs, employee absences, production targets, and shipping deadlines.
· Identify opportunities to improve productivity, quality, processes, and team performance within the manufacturing operation.
· Perform other duties as assigned
Skills/Qualifications:
· 5+ years of experience leading teams within an electronics or electronic manufacturing environment.
· Post-secondary education in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, or a related discipline is preferred.
· Strong technical understanding of electrical/electronic systems, assembly processes, testing, and manufacturing operations.
· Familiarity with IPC requirements and industry quality standards, including ISO 9001, ISO 13485, ISO 16949, and ISO 14001.
· Practical experience on the manufacturing floor, with exposure to electronic assembly, testing, production equipment, and troubleshooting considered an asset.
· Demonstrated success in building and developing teams, including coaching, training, performance management, and employee engagement.
· Strong ability to monitor production performance, identify issues, and implement process and efficiency improvements.
· Knowledge of Lean manufacturing and continuous improvement practices.
· Comfortable reviewing and understanding electrical schematics, technical drawings, work instructions, and other manufacturing documentation.
· Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with employees, management, customers, and cross-functional teams.
· Confident handling employee relations and performance-related discussions with professionalism and sound judgment.
· Strong planning, organization, and prioritization skills, with the ability to manage several competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
· Highly analytical and detail-oriented, with strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
· Experience working with ERP systems; Epicor experience is an asset.
· Proficient with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Word, and Outlook.
· Comfortable using hand tools, power tools, and other manufacturing equipment as required.
· Strong computer skills and the ability to perform basic mathematical calculations.
· Willingness to adjust working hours and provide overtime support when operational requirements dictate.
· Must be eligible to obtain and maintain the required security clearance.
