AR Exteriors is looking for experienced, reliable, and hardworking individuals to join our team. We are currently hiring for Shinglers as well as an Exterior Sheet Metal Fabricator/Installer.

Position 1: Experienced Shingler
Job Type: Full-Time
Wage: Competitive, based on experience
Main Duties:
- Repair, maintain, remove, and replace roof shingles
- Install, repair, or replace plywood when necessary
- Set up scaffolding to provide safe access to roofs
- Install vapour barriers and roof venting systems
- Use power tools and roofing equipment safely and effectively
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment
- Follow all company safety policies and procedures
- Work efficiently as part of a crew
Employment Requirements:
- Previous roofing/shingling experience required
- Must be comfortable working on all roof pitches
- Must be able to work outdoors for extended periods of time
- Must be physically capable of performing demanding work
- Must have reliable transportation
- Must be able to work well with others in a team environment
- Valid Working at Heights certification is an asset
Position 2: Exterior Sheet Metal Fabricator & Installer
We are also looking for an experienced Sheet Metal Fabricator/Installer to join our exterior construction team. This position will involve fabricating and installing sheet metal components for residential exterior projects.
Main Duties:
- Fabricate and install exterior sheet metal components on residential homes
- Measure, cut, bend, and form sheet metal to required specifications
- Install flashing, trim, fascia, valleys, chimney flashing, and other exterior sheet metal details
- Work from ladders, scaffolding, and elevated work areas
- Use hand tools and power tools safely
- Read measurements and work accurately to ensure proper fit and finish
- Work alongside roofers and other crew members to complete projects
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment
- Follow all company safety policies and procedures
Employment Requirements:
- Previous sheet metal fabrication and/or installation experience preferred
- Experience with residential roofing or exterior construction is an asset
- Must be comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions
- Must be comfortable working at heights
- Must have valid Working at Heights certification
- Must be physically capable of performing demanding work
- Must be able to work well with others in a team setting
- A valid driver's licence is an asset but not required
- Reliable transportation is an asset
