We are currently looking for a Junior Recruiter / Account Manager to join our team. Although our company is based in Toronto, ON, this is a remote, work-from-home position.
The perfect candidate possesses strong communication skills, a proactive mindset, above-average math abilities, and the capacity to multitask in a fast-paced setting. This role involves managing the full recruitment cycle for designated openings—from crafting job descriptions and sourcing candidates to screening them. You'll be instrumental in connecting with job seekers, establishing rapport, assessing their backgrounds and skills, and matching them to roles that align with both their interests and client requirements. Candidates with at least one year of recruitment or sales experience will be given priority.
Additionally, you will collaborate with clients to understand their staffing requirements and relay those needs to our recruitment team.
Though our company is headquartered in Toronto, ON, this is a remote/work-from-home opportunity. Our operating hours are Monday to Friday, 8:30 am to 5:00 pm Eastern Standard Time. If you reside outside this time zone, we will require you to adjust your schedule accordingly.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Partner with the account team to identify open positions and present top candidates to clients.
- Screen and conduct initial interviews using behavioral and competency-based methods to provide a shortlist for client consideration.
- Develop and maintain a network of technical professionals.
- Oversee the entire recruitment lifecycle for assigned roles—from writing and posting job ads to onboarding new hires.
- Collaborate with client hiring managers to capture job specifications and expectations.
- Respond to inquiries about our services via phone, email, and social media.
- Build robust relationships with client hiring managers, business leaders, and other lines of business.
- Conduct regular follow-ups with hiring managers and candidates to ensure the recruitment process stays on track.
- Assess candidates thoroughly against relevant job requirements.
- Work with both candidates and clients to secure signed documentation for every placement.
- Prospect for new business opportunities related to staffing needs via phone, email, and other electronic channels.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS
- 1–2 years of recruitment or sales experience. Note: Customer service roles do not count as sales.
- Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills, along with team-based project experience.
- Strong organizational abilities and the capacity to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Excel, and Google Meet.
- Results-oriented, comfortable handling multiple tasks and thriving under pressure.
- Ability to manage sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
- Must be willing and able to write job descriptions. Candidates who dislike writing or rely on copy-paste will not be considered.
- Preference given to applicants who can demonstrate above-average math skills.

Compensation: $22/hour + commission (OTE $55K–$85K)
