As a Chiropodist / Podiatrist at Complete Care, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional foot care services to our clients. Your responsibilities will include:
- Conducting assessments and providing treatments for various foot conditions, including diabetic foot care, nail care, biomechanical assessments, custom orthotic casting and dispensing, wound care, and procedures such as PNA/TNA/soft tissue lesion excisions.
- Offering foot care products and footwear recommendations.
- Utilizing advanced treatment modalities, including class IV laser therapy, shockwave therapy, and ultrasound therapy (training provided if necessary).
- Performing ingrown toenail surgery.
- Collaborating with a dedicated team of healthcare professionals to provide holistic care.
- Ensuring timely referrals to appropriate internal or external resources.
- Conducting home visits for off-site foot care as needed or requested.
We are seeking a Chiropodist / Podiatrist who is enthusiastic, competent, patient-focused, and eager to work both independently and collaboratively within our clinic environment. Key qualifications include:
- Current registration in good standing with the College of Chiropodists of Ontario (COCOO).
- Prescription and injection privileges per the COCOO are an asset but not required.
- Valid Chiropody insurance as per license requirements.
- Punctuality and reliability.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Valid CPR certification.
