Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Qualified Upholsterer to join our dynamic manufacturing and construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for creating, repairing, and restoring furniture and custom upholstery projects with precision and craftsmanship. Responsibilities
- Measure, cut, assemble, and upholster furniture pieces using hand tools, power tools
- Conduct heavy lifting of materials and furniture components to facilitate assembly or repairs while adhering to safety protocols.
- Assemble furniture or custom pieces according to detailed specifications, ensuring durability and aesthetic quality.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to safety guidelines at all times.
- Collaborate with team members on complex projects requiring mechanical knowledge or construction experience.
Skills
- Knowledge of manufacturing standards and safety procedures related to upholstery, carpentry, or construction environments.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings or blueprints for accurate project execution.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail and craftsmanship excellence.
