Overview
Join the vibrant team at barBURRITO as a Team Member, where you'll play a key role in delivering exceptional customer experiences and maintaining high standards of food quality and safety. This position offers an engaging environment for individuals passionate about food service, with opportunities to develop skills in hospitality, food preparation, and cash handling. Ideal candidates are friendly, efficient, and committed to teamwork and cleanliness.

Responsibilities

Prepare and assemble food items according to company standards, ensuring quality and presentation.
Operate POS systems, including Micros POS, for accurate order processing and cash handling.
Provide friendly and efficient customer service, addressing customer inquiries and ensuring satisfaction.
Maintain cleanliness of workstations, dining areas, and food preparation zones in accordance with food safety regulations.
Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure timely service and order completion.
Handle cash transactions accurately and balance cash register at the end of shifts.
Follow food safety protocols in handling ingredients and preparing meals.
Assist with restocking supplies and maintaining inventory levels as needed.

Skills

Experience with POS systems, particularly Micros POS, is preferred.
Previous experience in the food industry or food service environment is a plus.
Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently during peak hours.
Excellent customer service skills with a friendly attitude.
Barista experience or serving background is advantageous.
Basic math skills for cash handling and transaction accuracy.
Knowledge of food handling procedures and food safety standards.
Ability to work as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. This role is ideal for motivated individuals eager to grow within the food service industry while providing top-notch service to customers in a dynamic setting.

Pay: $16.60-$17.60 per hour
