Sobeys is full of exciting opportunities, and we are always looking for bright new talent to join our team! We currently have a full time opportunity for a Integrated Planning Manager. This role is based out of our offices located in Mississauga; ON, Stellarton; NS.
The Manager, Integrated Planning & Strategic Initiatives plays a key role in enabling coordinated enterprise planning across Technology Transformation & Portfolio Management.
Working closely with the Director, this role leads integrated planning activities across strategic priorities and select enterprise initiatives by connecting roadmap planning, investment alignment, governance coordination, initiative visibility, and business outcomes into a cohesive planning-to-value model.
The role operates as a enterprise integrator across Technology, Finance, Portfolio Management, Enterprise Architecture, Program Delivery, and business stakeholders to improve planning discipline, strengthen decision-making, surface risks and trade-offs early, and improve confidence in strategic outcomes.
This is a high-impact role suited for someone who can navigate complexity, influence across functions, bring structure to enterprise planning activities, and translate strategic direction into actionable plans, governance insights, and decision-ready materials.
What You Will Do
- Lead integrated planning activities across strategic priorities and select enterprise initiatives.
- Develop and maintain integrated roadmap views, sequencing plans, governance inputs, planning assumptions, and strategic initiative visibility across assigned areas.
- Connect priorities, funding considerations, capacity implications, dependencies, risks, readiness requirements, and expected outcomes into integrated planning outputs.
- Facilitate cross-functional planning coordination across Technology, Finance, Portfolio Management, Enterprise Architecture, Program Delivery, and business teams.
- Drive planning discipline, governance readiness, and alignment across strategic initiatives.
- Support executive and leadership decision-making through roadmap views, governance materials, trade-off analysis, strategic narratives, and decision-ready insights.
- Facilitate planning reviews, prioritization discussions, sequencing conversations, and governance forums.
- Maintain visibility into progress, risks, dependencies, readiness concerns, constraints, and material trade-offs across assigned strategic priorities.
- Surface and escalate issues requiring leadership attention, including sequencing conflicts, dependency risks, funding impacts, capacity constraints, and strategic alignment concerns.
- Support benefits definition, readiness planning, value tracking, and continuous improvement across the planning-to-value lifecycle.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of planning, governance, reporting, and strategic initiative management practices.
- Develop and promote consistent planning standards, templates, governance approaches, and integrated ways of working across the function.
- Provide informal leadership, coaching, and guidance across planning and strategic initiative activities as needed.

What You Bring
- 7+ years of progressive experience in integrated planning, enterprise transformation, strategy execution, portfolio management, strategic initiatives, technology transformation, or related enterprise functions.
- Experience operating in complex, cross-functional enterprise environments with multiple stakeholders and competing priorities.
- Strong experience developing executive-level materials, roadmap views, governance reporting, and decision-support content.
- Demonstrated ability to translate strategic direction into integrated plans, sequencing options, governance insights, investment considerations, and initiative priorities.
- Strong understanding of enterprise governance, financial planning, resource planning, delivery management, and benefits realization concepts.
- Experience working across business and technology functions.
- Strong analytical, financial, and structured problem-solving capabilities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to influence stakeholders and facilitate enterprise discussions.
- Experience with enterprise planning, portfolio, reporting, or delivery management tools.
- Undergraduate degree in business, technology, engineering, or a related discipline, or equivalent experience.
- MBA, PMP, PgMP, SAFe, Prosci, or equivalent credentials are considered assets.
