Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Handyman/Handywoman to join our team at a prestigious high-rise construction site. As a High-Rise Handyman/Handywoman, you will be responsible for performing a wide range of maintenance, repair, and construction tasks to ensure the smooth operation of the building and its facilities. This position requires the ability to work at heights and a strong understanding of safety protocols in high-rise environments.

Responsibilities:

Perform routine maintenance tasks, including painting, plumbing, electrical repairs, and carpentry work.
Conduct regular inspections to identify and address maintenance needs, such as broken fixtures, leaks, or malfunctioning equipment.
Install, repair, and maintain various systems and equipment, such as HVAC, lighting, elevators, and fire safety systems.
Respond promptly to work orders and service requests, ensuring timely resolution of issues to minimize disruption to residents and occupants.
Assist with general construction tasks, such as framing, drywall installation, flooring, and window repair.
Safely operate and maintain hand and power tools, ensuring they are in good working condition.
Adhere to safety regulations and protocols, especially when working at heights or operating heavy equipment.
Collaborate with other tradespeople, contractors, and on-site staff to coordinate tasks and ensure efficient project completion.
Keep accurate records of work performed, materials used, and any additional information required for reporting and billing purposes.
Maintain a clean and organized work environment, ensuring tools and equipment are properly stored and secured.

Requirements:

Proven experience as a Handyman/Handywoman, preferably in a high-rise construction or maintenance environment.
Strong knowledge of building maintenance and repair techniques, including painting, plumbing, electrical, and carpentry work.
Ability to work comfortably at heights and adhere to strict safety procedures.
Proficient in operating hand and power tools safely and efficiently.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Ability to manage time effectively and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work well within a team.
Physical stamina and strength to perform manual labor and lift heavy objects.
Knowledge of building codes, regulations, and safety standards.
High school diploma or equivalent.
