Job summary:
One of our clients is currently hiring a Site Supervisor to oversee demolition and asbestos abatement projects across the GTA and surrounding areas. This role is ideal for a hands-on leader who can manage small crews, coordinate daily site operations, and actively work alongside team members to ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, and on schedule.
Job Title: Site Supervisor – Demolition & Abatement
Location: Greater Toronto Area (GTA) and Surrounding Areas
Job Type: Full-Time
Pay Rate: $25.00 – $30.00 per hour
Responsibilities:
- Supervise crews of 1–4 workers on demolition and asbestos abatement projects
- Perform hands-on work alongside crew members as required
- Coordinate daily site activities and ensure project timelines are met
- Maintain compliance with Ontario health and safety regulations
- Respond to emergency restoration calls, including floods and water damage
- Communicate effectively with management, clients, and subcontractors
- Ensure proper use of equipment, containment systems, and safety procedures
Requirements:
- Previous experience in demolition and asbestos abatement (Type 1, 2, or 3 experience required)
- Valid Type 3 Asbestos Worker or Supervisor Certificate
- Strong leadership skills with experience managing small crews
- Valid driver's licence with a clean driving record
- Ability to work flexible hours, including occasional emergency response calls
- Strong understanding of job site safety procedures and regulations
Assets (Preferred):
- Experience with rebuild work, including drywall, mudding, taping, and painting
- Experience in flood and fire restoration
- Familiarity with containment setup and negative air systems
