Summary
Reporting to the Director of Food & Beverage Operations, the host/hostess is one of many characters bubbling over with personality, humour, kindness and sincerity. With a positive attitude and strong work ethic, you aim to please each and every guest that arrives by delivering a memorable experience.
Responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to:
- Greet guests and determine the number in their party. Seat guests by finding a clean, available table.
- Guide guests through the dining room and provide any needed assistance.
- Move and arrange tables, chairs, and settings and organize seating for groups with special needs.
- Maintain cleanliness of work areas throughout the day.
- Monitor dining room for seating availability, service, safety, and well being of guests.
- Speak with others using clear and professional language, and answer telephone using appropriate etiquette.
- Communicates with Servers & Managers providing seamless guest service.
- Contributes to a positive team environment reinforcing good morale, respect and integrity of others.
Requirements
- Adherence to quality expectations and standards.
- Able to work breakfast shift weekends and holidays
- A minimum of 1 year of previous Customer Service or Host/hostess experience.
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment & are able to work on your feet for extended periods
- Smart Serve certification required
Availability: Full-time position. Must be available to work weekdays, weekends, holidays and early morning shifts.
