Job Description:

Come work as a Medical Laboratory Technologist with Island Health.

Island Health is seeking Laboratory Technologists to join Laboratory teams in cities and towns across Vancouver Island, BC (including, but not limited to Victoria, Nanaimo, Campbell River, Comox, Duncan, Port McNeill). Multiple openings are available, including full time, part time, casual and temporary positions.

Shifts of work will vary as multiple openings are currently available. Apply today so that we can connect with you about schedules, locations and more details.

Relocation assistance of up to $5,000 may be available to eligible candidates.

These positions may qualify for Provincial and/or Federal Loan Forgiveness programs.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Education, Training And Experience

To join our team, you will have:

Canadian Society for Medical Laboratory Science (CSMLS) certification as a Medical Laboratory Technologist.
Graduation from a recognized diploma program in Medical Laboratory Technology.
Completion of courses relevant to discipline or section within the last two years or one (1) year recent, related experience within the last six years in the relevant section of the laboratory, or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
