Job Summary

Join our dynamic team as an Entry Level Cabinet Installer and kickstart your career in the construction and woodworking industry! In this role, you will assist with the installation of custom cabinets, ensuring precise fit and finish according to project specifications. This position offers a fantastic opportunity to gain hands-on experience with various construction tasks, develop essential skills, and work alongside seasoned professionals. Whether you're just starting out or looking to expand your skill set, this position provides a lively environment where your contributions make a real impact.

This position requirers reliable transportation to many different job site all over the greater Moncton area including some out of town work in Halifax, Fredericton, etc.

No experience neccesary, if you are looking to join the trades and learn new skills then this could be the career for you.

We are only hiring Permenant Residents/Canadian Citizens.

Responsibilities

Assist in reading and interpreting blueprints, schematics, and installation instructions to ensure accurate cabinet placement.
Prepare work areas by cleaning, measuring, and setting up tools and materials needed for installation projects.
Use hand tools and power tools safely to install cabinets, ensuring alignment, levelness, and secure fastening.
Support team members in heavy lifting and positioning of cabinetry components during installation.
Maintain a clean and organized work site, adhering to safety standards at all times.
Collaborate with team members on project timelines and communicate progress or issues promptly.
Learn and grow your skills quickly

Skills

Basic understanding of blueprint reading and schematics for cabinetry projects.
Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and construction equipment used in installation work.
Strong attention to detail with an emphasis on precision in measurements and alignment.
Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently.
Good communication skills to follow instructions and work well within a team environment.
Willingness to learn new skills such as woodworking, flooring installation, or masonry as needed.
Prior construction experience or handyman background is a plus but not required; enthusiasm for hands-on work is essential.
