Opportunity: Survey Technologist
As a Survey Technologist, you will play a key role in supporting our survey team on a wide range of projects. Working closely with experienced Surveyors, you will assist in delivering accurate layout, measurement, and data collection services critical to project success. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with survey equipment, possesses strong problem-solving skills, pays close attention to detail, and enjoys working outdoors in dynamic environments.
Key responsibilities include:
- Completion of topographic and legal surveys
- Completion of construction surveys
- Regular communication with Project Surveyors
- Regular communication with contractors and clients
- Attend safety meetings
Key requirements include:
- Survey Technician Geomatics Technologist diploma or equivalent experience
- 2+ years’ experience as a Survey Technologist
- Experience on legal/topographic survey projects
- Ability to use survey equipment (total station, GPS, laser scanner)
- Ability to work outside in all weather conditions
- Ability to self‐initiate and solve problems
- Ability to use and experience with a chainsaw is an asset
- Attention to detail
- Strong written and oral communication (English) skills
- Ability to work in a team environment
- Valid driver’s license
