Overview
This position is responsible for ensuring that every guest is warmly greeted and feel welcomed upon arrival, while consistently upholding a friendly, positive, and professional demeanor. The role also involves providing clear and accurate directions to guests as needed and maintaining up-to-date knowledge of all features, events, and services across the property. Additionally, the position supports the Guest Experience Administrator by assisting with updates to menus and offerings and serving as a knowledgeable resource regarding events and services available at Ravine.
Role and Responsibilities
- Greets each guest in a professional manner and attends to their needs.
- Provides information to guests regarding current promotions and experiences.
- Maintains a thorough understanding of the menu and beverages being offered in all areas.
- Escorts guests to appropriate location and gives accurate directions.
- Occasionally creates and maintains reservations on Tock software.
- Occasionally responds to telephone, e-mail, and in-person inquiries and reservation requests from clients, business partners, and other parties, referring them to the appropriate individuals, divisions, or departments across the organization as necessary.
- Bids guests farewell at the end of their experience.
- Shares Wine Club information with guests to secure a membership sale.
- Supports the company’s Standards of Service by consistently providing exceptional hospitality to all guests.
- Other duties as assigned.
Educational & Experience Requirements
- Experience with Tock and/or other reservation systems is preferred
- Minimum 3 years of experience in Host or similar role preferred.
- Local area, wine and food knowledge considered an asset.
- Smart Serve Certification is required.

Working Conditions
- This position’s duties will primarily be performed outside.
- Able to work daytime, evening, weekends, weekdays and holidays as required.
