Penfor Construction, a subsidiary company of AgriHub Inc., offers “turn-key” General Contracting for the construction of agricultural and commercial facilities. Our team will design, estimate and oversee complete construction, ensuring that the project is completed on time and on budget.
We are currently looking for a Health & Safety Administrator to join our team. This position will be based out of our head office in Blumenort, Manitoba.
Reporting to the Safety Coordinator, the Health & Safety Administrator provides administrative and program support to ensure our safety systems, documentation, training, and compliance activities run efficiently. This role is ideal for an organized, detail-oriented professional who enjoys coordinating multiple priorities and working with teams across the organization.
What You'll Do
- Maintain safety documentation, records, policies, procedures, and project safety plans.
- Coordinate employee orientations, training sessions, certifications, and renewal tracking.
- Support incident reporting, inspections, audits, and corrective action follow-up.
- Track safety metrics, prepare reports, and maintain audit-ready records.
- Assist with safety meetings, communications, and company-wide safety initiatives.
- Review safety submissions for accuracy and compliance.
- Support PPE, equipment, and tool inspection tracking.
- Provide administrative support to the Health & Safety team.
What You'll Bring
Required:
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Experience participating in workplace safety programs or safety initiatives.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and ability to learn new software.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
- NHSA certification, or willingness to obtain within 12 months of hire.
Assets:
- Experience in construction, agriculture, trades, manufacturing, retail, or service-based industries.
- Experience working with tools, equipment, or machinery.
- Administrative experience in a trades, construction, or field-service environment.
