At AutoCity Sales, we are looking for a motivated individual with a positive attitude who loves to challenge themselves. This is an entry-level role to join our accounting team as a Accounting Clerk. This position is located at our 700 Burnhamthorpe Rd W location in Mississauga and is required to be onsite full time, five days a week.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare daily bank deposits and credit card payment reconciliations
Accounts receivable reconciliations of customer and departmental cash clearing accounts
Accounts payable including coding invoices, posting and issuing payments in a timely manner
Monitor floor-plan accounts to ensure payments are submitted within guidelines
Review vehicle purchases and inventory schedule maintenance
Administrative filing
Assist in month-end and year-end closing
Other accounting duties as required by management

Minimum Qualifications

Post-secondary education with a focus on accounting
0–1 years of relevant accounting experience
High level of attention to detail and organizational skills
Proficient in MS Word, Excel, and Outlook
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Experience working in a fast-paced environment
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a timely manner
Previous automotive retail dealership work experience preferred but not required
