We are seeking a highly responsible and experienced Security Patrol Supervisor to oversee security operations at our facility. This leadership role involves managing security personnel, ensuring safety protocols are followed, and maintaining a secure environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in law enforcement, security, or military service, along with excellent conflict management skills and the ability to respond effectively to emergencies. The Security Supervisor is a hands-on leadership role responsible for coordinating, scheduling, and supervising the Security Team while actively participating in patrol operations. Reporting directly to the Facility Manager, this role ensures consistent enforcement of park rules, effective incident response, and high standards of professionalism. The Supervisor leads by example, working alongside Security Officers during patrols, special events, and peak operational periods.

Key ResponsibilitiesTeam
Leadership & Scheduling
· Coordinate, schedule, and supervise the Security Team
· Ensure adequate patrol coverage across all facilities and park areas
· Act as first point of contact for security staff during shifts
· Support onboarding, training, and mentoring of security personnel
· Lead by example by working scheduled patrol shifts
Hands-On Patrol & Operations
· Actively participate in mobile patrols alongside Security Officers
· Conduct access checks, lock-ups, and perimeter inspections
· Support officers during peak periods, events, or staffing gaps
· Respond to and manage escalated situations in real time
· Model professional conduct and customer service standards
Incident Management & Reporting
· Respond to and assist with security incidents and emergencies
· Ensure incident reports are completed accurately and submitted on time
· Review reports for quality and escalate concerns to the Facility Manager
· Maintain clear documentation and records
Qualifications & Requirements
· High School Diploma required; post-secondary education an asset
· Valid Alberta Security License
· Minimum 2 years of security experience, including supervisory experience
· Strong understanding of patrol and incident response procedures
· Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
· Ability to obtain and maintain a Vulnerable Sector Check
· Drivers License
