Our team of reliable and professional skilled fence installers are well versed in all aspects of fencing and guide rail installation and repairs. We are currently seeking a dedicated and hardworking Construction Labourer to join our team.
Job Description:
As a Construction Labourer with Imperial Fence Inc., you will be an integral part of our fencing installation and repair teams. You will assist in various construction tasks, including the installation of fences, gates, and related structures. Your role will involve physical labor, operating machinery, and ensuring that all work is completed to the highest standards of safety and quality.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the installation of fences, gates, and other related structures
- Perform site preparation tasks, including digging post holes and leveling ground
- Operate and maintain construction tools and equipment safely and effectively
- Load and unload materials, ensuring they are handled properly to avoid damage
- Follow blueprints and work instructions to ensure accurate installation and repairs
- Work collaboratively with team members to complete projects on time and within budget
- Adhere to all safety regulations and practices to maintain a safe work environment
- Conduct regular maintenance checks on tools and equipment
- Communicate effectively with supervisors and clients regarding project progress and any issues that arise
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in construction or a related field is required
- Ability to perform physical labor, including lifting, digging, and carrying heavy materials
- Basic knowledge of construction tools and equipment
- Ability to follow instructions and adhere to safety protocols
- Ability to work and stay out of town
- Welding experience is an asset
- Valid G license
- Reliable transportation to shop locations in Kitchener and Scotland
