Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Physiotherapist to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in assessing, planning, and implementing individualized treatment plans to improve patients' mobility, strength, and overall well-being. This position offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic clinical environment, providing essential patient care across various settings including hospitals, clinics, and outpatient facilities. Candidates with hospital experience, especially in acute care or pediatrics, will find this role particularly rewarding. A strong understanding of medical terminology and patient care principles is essential to deliver high-quality services and support recovery processes effectively.

Responsibilities

Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients’ physical conditions and develop tailored treatment plans.
Implement therapeutic interventions such as manual therapy, exercise programs, and modalities to promote healing and mobility.
Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment strategies accordingly to optimize outcomes.
Educate patients and their families on injury prevention, rehabilitation exercises, and health maintenance strategies.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care.
Maintain accurate documentation of patient evaluations, treatment plans, progress notes, and discharge summaries in compliance with healthcare regulations.
Stay current with advancements in physiotherapy techniques and participate in ongoing professional development activities.

Experience

Prior hospital experience is highly desirable, particularly in acute care settings where rapid assessment and intervention are critical.
Experience working with pediatric patients is a plus, demonstrating comfort in managing diverse age groups with specialized needs.
Proven ability to deliver excellent patient care while adhering to safety protocols and medical standards.
Familiarity with medical terminology relevant to physiotherapy practice is required to ensure precise communication within healthcare teams.
Prior experience in outpatient or rehabilitation clinics is beneficial but not mandatory; training will be provided for specific clinical environments. This role offers a meaningful opportunity to make a positive impact on patients’ recovery journeys through expert physiotherapy services delivered with compassion and professionalism.

Job Types: Permanent, Contract, Fixed term contract
Contract length: 3 months

Pay: $90.00-$100.00 per hour
