All teachers begin at the Associate level. Fast-track advancement to Principal tier is available for teachers with Master's degrees or higher. Advancement to higher tiers is based on education, qualifications, performance, and contributions to the Beethoven at Home network through blogs, reviews, and other community engagement.

Requirements:
- Post-secondary music education or equivalent professional experience
- Teaching experience (all levels welcome)
- Mandatory in-house criminal background check (fee applies only after you receive your first student and is deducted in small increments from earnings)
- Professional approach to education
