Senior Estates Law Clerk (5+ years)

As a regional law firm, we have a cost structure that allows excellent legal services to be priced competitively.

We are currently seeking a Senior Estates Law Clerk (5+ years). This position is for an in-person job at our Markham office.

The ideal candidate must have experience with estate litigation and experience with estate administration would be beneficial.

Excellent organization and time-management skills;
Ability to work well under pressure;
Ability to work independently, accurately and efficiently on multiple files;
Ability to meet deadlines while balancing different priorities;
Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Estate-a-Base (or other estate administration software);
Strong knowledge of estate litigation procedures, estate administration, and estate planning practices;
Familiarity with the Ontario Rules of Civil Procedure and applicable estates legislation;
Experience with court filings and estate administration procedures in Ontario;
Excellent drafting, organizational, and time management skills;
Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills; and
Strong attention to detail.
