POSITION: Account Manager
LOCATION: Vancouver or Lower Mainland, British Columbia
REPORTS TO: Manager, Sales & Development
Who You Are:
The Account Manager (AM) is responsible for driving business growth and achieving revenue targets across all product lines by developing and maintaining strong customer relationships within an assigned territory. This role plays a critical part in identifying customer needs, developing end-user solutions, providing field support, and collaborating closely with internal technical and sales teams to deliver practical, value-added solutions. The ideal candidate is hands-on, mechanically and controls inclined, customer-focused, and motivated to grow both their sales expertise and technical knowledge while delivering exceptional customer experience.
About the Role:
Managing Customer Needs
- Manages key customer and vendor relationships and participates in closing strategic opportunities, traveling for in-person meetings when necessary to develop key relationships
- Assist customers through all forms of technology as well as in person meetings and technical support
- Ensure solutions are provided in a timely and successful manner based on customer needs and objectives
- Manage client relationships so the CB portfolio of products is preferred
- Manages customer expectations and contributes to a high level of customer satisfaction
Managing the Business
- Continually update sales funnel with customer data relating to opportunities and quotations
- Map customers organizations and develop key (Responsible) contacts for all CB product lines
- Develop, maintain and execute a territory sales plan
- Generate leads for the organization
- Obtain sales territory market research and competitor / customer analysis
- Set a good example for your team; work according to company culture and values
- Managing territory pipeline including principal feedback
- Develop plans and strategies for business development and achieving the company’s sales goals
Required Experience:
- Excellent sales and negotiating skills

- Be a strong team player to liaise between Principals/Customers/Internal Team
- Ability to manage multiple projects under a strict time limit and face paced environment
- Self-motivated and ability to thrive in a result driven environment
- Engineering Degree or Technical Diploma in Instrumentation or Electrical or equivalent experience or Journeyperson designation in the following trades: Electrical, Instrumentation, Gas Fitting, etc.
- Ability to travel domestically as well as internationally

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $80,000.00-$95,000.00 per year
