STAFF PHARMACIST
Flexible Scheduling - No Evenings. No Weekends. No Holidays
$70–$80/hour + Relocation, Travel & Housing Support

For more than 25 years, The Medicine Cabinet has proudly served the community of Port aux Basques, NL. As a locally trusted pharmacy, we've built lasting relationships with our patients - and with our team, with several employees having been with us since the beginning.

We're looking for a community-minded pharmacist who values meaningful patient relationships, enjoys practicing to their full scope, and wants to be part of an experienced and supportive team.

$70–$80 per hour, negotiable based on experience

FLEXIBLE SCHEDULING:

We offer permanent and fixed-term opportunities, including 12–24 month contracts. While we're flexible, a minimum one-year commitment is preferred.

We can work with you to create a schedule that fits your lifestyle, including compressed and rotational options:

Four days on / three days off
Two weeks on / two weeks off
Other scheduling arrangements may be considered

No evenings. No weekends. No holidays.

PRACTICE TO YOUR FULL SCOPE:

You'll be supported to utilize your full scope of practice, including:

Comprehensive medication reviews
Patient counselling
Immunizations and injections
Assessment and prescribing for minor ailments
Diabetes management
Additional clinical services aligned with your interests and expertise

The role also provides an opportunity to support complex patients and residents in long-term care.

QUALIFICATIONS:

We're looking for a pharmacist who has:

A current licence, or eligibility for licensure, to practice in Newfoundland and Labrador and is in good standing with the College of Pharmacy of Newfoundland and Labrador
A passion for patient-centred community pharmacy practice
Strong communication and relationship-building skills
An interest in caring for complex patients and residents in long-term care
A collaborative, team-focused approach to patient care
