About Us
McArthur River, located in northern Saskatchewan, is the world’s largest high-grade uranium mine. The uranium produced at McArthur River is used for nuclear fuel products, which utilities around the world rely on to generate safe, reliable, emissions-free nuclear power. Cameco is one of the largest global providers of the uranium fuel needed to power a secure energy future.
Position and Responsibilities
- Issuing materials from various warehouse facilities.
- Shipping and receiving.
- Inventory cycle counts and data entry.
- Loading and off-loading of all general freight.
- Using a handheld device and reporting in excel.
- Other general warehouse duties as assigned.
Education and Qualifications
Requirements of the position:
- grade 12 education or equivalent;
- minimum of five years of related experience in an industrial warehouse environment with experience in processes such as job kitting, cycle counting, and MRP review;
- equivalent combination of education and work experience may be considered;
- advanced computer skills, specifically in Microsoft excel and an ERP system;
- forklift and loader operator certification;
- valid class 5 driver’s license;
- night shift and underground work as required; and
- work a rotational schedule and commute to site by aircraft
Assets:
- experience working with SAP; and
- previous training in first aid, WHMIS, and transportation of dangerous goods.
