We are currently seeking a skilled Survey Crew Chief to join our dynamic team.

Position Overview:

As a Survey Crew Chief, you will be responsible for leading a field crew in conducting land surveys for construction, boundary, topographic, and other engineering purposes. You will oversee data collection, ensure accuracy, and effectively communicate findings to project managers, engineers, and clients.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct land surveys using advanced instruments (total stations, GPS equipment, 3D scanners, and data collectors).
Effectively establish and maintain site control
Report findings and collaborate with project managers.
Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards.
Maintain positive relationships with clients and stakeholders (addressing clients concerns, maintaining clear communication, and ensuring satisfaction).
Train and mentor junior crew members, helping them to improve their skills and knowledge.
Coordinate logistics for survey operations by managing the required resources for fieldwork.

Qualifications:

Experience with survey equipment such as total stations, GPS, 3D scanners, and data collection equipment.
Ability to lead and supervise a field crew.
Basic knowledge of CAD software for survey drafting and calculations.
Strong understanding of safety protocols and industry regulations.
Ability to resolve field-related challenges and adapt to changing project requirements.
Strong interpersonal skills to maintain client relationships and address issues from stakeholders.
High level of accuracy in data collection and field operations.
