Overview

We are seeking a motivated and experienced Junior <PERSON> to join our dynamic culinary team. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals passionate about the food industry, hospitality, and leadership development. The Junior <PERSON> will support kitchen operations, assist in food preparation, and contribute to maintaining high standards of food safety and service. Ideal candidates will have a background in food handling, restaurant experience, and strong teamwork skills. This position is integral to delivering exceptional dining experiences and supporting the senior culinary staff in daily operations.

Responsibilities

Assist in food preparation and cooking to ensure timely service and quality standards.
Support supervising staff in managing daily kitchen activities and team coordination.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen areas in compliance with food safety regulations.
Handle food with care, ensuring proper storage, handling, and sanitation procedures are followed.
Contribute to menu execution by preparing ingredients and assisting with plating during service.
Support restaurant management in ensuring efficient service flow and guest satisfaction.
Participate in food safety training and uphold all health standards within the kitchen environment.
Serve as a positive team member, fostering a collaborative atmosphere among staff members.
Assist with inventory management and ordering supplies as needed to ensure smooth operations.

Requirements

Previous experience in food service, restaurant management, or hospitality is preferred.
Knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and food safety standards is essential.
Supervising experience or team management skills are highly desirable.
Strong leadership qualities with the ability to motivate team members.
Excellent communication skills and a professional attitude towards guests and staff.
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
Kitchen experience within the food industry or restaurant setting is required.
Demonstrated understanding of food handling procedures and safety regulations.
Flexibility to work various shifts as needed; prior serving or hospitality experience is advantageous.

Pay: $45,000.00-$50,000.00 per year
