Aberhart Farms is looking for a dependable and motivated Seasonal Farm Equipment Operator to join our team during the busy farming season. Responsibilities
- Operate heavy farm equipment such as tractors, harvesters, and irrigation systems safely and efficiently
- Perform routine maintenance and minor repairs on farm machinery using hand tools and power tools
- Assist with planting, cultivating, irrigating, and harvesting crops according to seasonal schedules
- Conduct inspections of equipment and ensure proper functioning before use
- Maintain clean and organized work areas around machinery and equipment
- Support general farm tasks including soil preparation, pest control, and crop management
- Use basic math skills for measurements, calculations, and record keeping related to farm activities
- Follow safety protocols when handling heavy equipment and performing manual labor
What We're Looking For
- Prior experience operating farm machinery or heavy equipment; training will be provided for qualified candidates
- Mechanical knowledge or background in maintenance is a plus
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely (up to 50 pounds) throughout the workday
- Experience using hand tools and power tools for repairs or adjustments on equipment
- GPS or precision ag experience is considered an asset, along with mechanical aptitude and/or a Class 1A license
- Basic understanding of math for measurements and calculations related to farming tasks
- Physical stamina to work outdoors in varying weather conditions for extended periods

Pay: $16.00-$25.00 per hour
