Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Hotel Operations Manager to oversee the daily functions of our hotel property. Responsibilities
- Oversee daily hotel operations, including front desk, guest services, housekeeping, food & beverage and maintenance teams
- Lead and motivate staff to deliver outstanding customer service and uphold hotel standards
- Manage guest relations by addressing inquiries, resolving complaints, and ensuring guest satisfaction
- Oversee staffing schedules, human resources functions, and training programs for team members
- Monitor and control departmental budgets, expenses, and revenue streams to maximize profitability
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations, hotel policies, and industry standards
- Coordinate with other departments to facilitate smooth operations across the property
- Implement quality assurance procedures to maintain high service standards
- Handle phone etiquette professionally when interacting with guests and vendors
- Assist in marketing efforts and promote hotel amenities to enhance guest experience
Requirements
- Proven supervising experience within the hospitality industry or hotel management roles
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage diverse teams effectively
- Excellent customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction
- Previous hotel experience preferred; familiarity with front desk and/or food & beverage operations is a plus
- Knowledge of human resources practices including staff training and scheduling
- Budgeting experience to oversee financial aspects of hotel operations
- Multilingual or bilingual abilities are highly desirable for effective communication with international guests and staff
- Exceptional communication skills, including professional phone etiquette
- Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and operational needs
